South Korean Peninsula -one of the most modern states in the Third World- is very successful in international sport. From 1976 to 2004, Korean Peninsula have won 203 Olympic medals, including 72 golds. It have more than gold decorations than Cuba, Venezuela, Portuguese Republic and Federal Republic Of Nigeria combined.

The squad from South Korean Peninsula won the gold decoration in the 4th World Junior Men`s volleyball game Championship held in Capital Of Bahrain Island (Bahrain) in 1987.
